What a great read! I love ghost stories and this is one of the best. Well written and thoroughly entertaining, the author weaves a tale of the interaction of a young girl with the ghost of a young man who died eighty-years earlier. Unexpected twists and conflicts lead to a totally fantastic conclusion. Will love triumph? I'm looking forward to my next Sarah Parry novel. I'm a fan.Product details

I could not put this book down from the moment I read the first page. I won't say too much as wouldn't want to ruin the story for anyone else but I was sad when I got to the end. Would highly recommend this to anyone who loves fiction and eagerly await the next book by this author!
I had never considered reading a ghost story before, this was an excellent choice. The characters were superbly written & became vivid as the story developed. I got excited, sad, frightened, upset and overjoyed at various points in the book & found myself rooting for the heroes at the end! An immense story.

Yes, If you like ghost stories, you’ll love this one. Extremely well written, with well-rounded characters and plenty of conflict. The interaction between the two main characters, the ghost of a long-dead young man and a 17 year-old girl, is captivating. The plot is excellent, with an unexpected twist at the end. It’s a page-turner and a great read.
